The hotel is good value for money, very friendly staff, although its not in the centre the bust stop is only round the corner and you will reach city centre within 5 mins by bus. We had a very pleasnt stay & good brakfast for a start in the morning. The room had a nice view

Clean room, tasty buffet breakfast. It was best price offer for a 3-bed room in Catania. Hotel is a good base for Etna excursion (there are no problems to find a hotel if You are using gps)

tasty breakfast, 24h reception, close to everywhere
people at the reception desk could speak better english, blankets too thin, watch out the street where the hostel is located is split on two parts by road works so check it properly which part you got in

We spent 10 days in this hotel and have been welcome by an excellent personnal (except one girl...). The breakfast was very good and the place with wonderful overview over the Etna Volcan and the see. The hotel is near motorway but we aren't disturbed. Bedrooms are corrects, except the cleaning sometimes light for a long stay as ours. Excellent Advises by receptionnists and perfect manners. Many thanks to the Hotel Villa Mater

Its at the right spot in catania no hassle of traffic jams ..nice view of catania from above.have a parking space, really good breakfast. Easy to get a bus ,bustop infront hotel
